Celebrating All Things Food And Drink With Festival Place
Basingstoke Together were pleased to be working alongside Festival Place for the 2019 Eat Street Festival! The two-day foodie festival highlights the best of the eateries available within the centre and this year we welcomed celebrity chefs, Candice Brown (Great British Bake Off) and Chris Bevan (Eat Well For Less). Candice and Chris wow’d the audience with their hints and tips as well as cooking up a storm live on stage. The festival also gave a platform to many of the local restaurants and cafes within the centre to showcase their menus, including Kokoro, Pizza Express, Caffe Nero, Festival Street Kitchen – to name a few!
Basingstoke Together were pleased to add to the fun and expand the festival around the centre with roaming performers, free face painting, a mocktail making bar as well as foodie arts and crafts.
Here's all the foodie fun from this year's Eat Steet. Live demos from The Great British Bake Off winner Candice Brown & TV presenter Chris Bavin, free face painting, arts & crafts, mocktail making, roaming acts and more. There was also free samples from Festival Place retailers; Festival Street Kitchen, Starbucks Festival Place, wagamama Las Iguanas Basingstoke, Pizza Express Apricot Clothing Café, Caffè Nero, Nando's Basingstoke & Kokoro. #inbasingstoke #basingstoketogether #festivalplace #eatstreet
