Sunday 15th September, Begins at 1:45 pm at Chute House, Basingstoke, RG21 7QT
Inter-Faith Walk is an interesting way to promote harmony and meet people from different faiths and cultures. It will end with refreshments and a gathering to celebrate different faiths and their input into our communities.v
We will gather at Chute House in Church Street, RG21 7QT for a Welcome and Instructions. We will then walk through the top of town to the Willis Museum where we will join in silent prayer and contemplation for peace as an act of solidarity by people of all faiths in rejecting violence around the world. From the Willis Museum, we will walk towards Council Rd, RG21 3DH arriving at Carnival Hall
The walk will end at Carnival Hall where we will have light refreshments and a brief presentation by Basingstoke Inter-Faith Forum.
The event is open to all. Walkers are asked to dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.
